Kinect Voice Controls Coming to Australia This Year

Voice control for Kinect isn't available everywhere yet, but it is coming to Australia before the end of 2011, Microsoft Australia's Xbox 360 boss has confirmed.

David McLean told GameSpot that the territory would get voice support this year, though didn't — or couldn't — reveal more specifically when gamers Down Under would be able to use their voices in the Kinect Hub.

I'll believe it when I see it.. Setting your Console to UK or even US has the voice controls working most of the time, so it can't be that hard to throw in a few more 'aussie' accents into the systems memory..
