There's been no end of talk on the Internet about when or if Master Chief or his fellow Spartans would come to Kinect, with 343 Industries suggesting a Halo Wars sequel and a rich discussion about how you would bring Halo to Kinect. Now it's official: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will support Kinect.

Phil Spencer of Microsoft Studios made the announcement in an interview with GameSpot, though he didn't reveal any further details about how the sensor will be used in-game.

How do you think 343 Industries and Microsoft Studios will insert Kinect support into Master Chief's original adventure? Could we see voice commands, head tracking or something completely new? Get involved and share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Menu Navigation, Voice Commands, maybe even option for tossing a grenade would all be a reasonable option. Nothing mandatory, but I think it's great! I love that they are supporting Kinect properly! Having the option is always better, since this is a port/remake, no one can complain they are taking development time away from the game to implement Kinect stuff, so more power to them!!!!

I'm thinking menu items (artwork that's unlocked perhaps), hacking terminals to read them/interact with them and maybe- because it would be cool- turning off your flashlight or swapping grenade types. Maybe even lobbing grenades. That would be very cool. But all things are optional so no matter what they put in- I'm cool with it. Because if I'm not... I'll turn it off. No harm/ no foul.

Interesting ideas above but won't they mean picking up and putting down joypads a lot especially if using a wired pad? Either that or people are going to be throwing a lot of pads through their tv's!
