CV leaks details

According to the resumé of artist Shawn Woods, Microsoft Game Studios Vancouver is working on a triple-A core shooter experience that uses Kinect.

While the CV doesn't offer up any further details, a poke around the studio's website reveals its mission statement:

MGS Vancouver is building a world-class development team in Vancouver, BC, Canada, dedicated to making games for "core" gamers. Our mission is to push the limits of proven and unexplored game development and show the world what's possible on Microsoft's game consoles.

The Microsoft Careers site also reveals the studio is expanding, with a recent position for Creative Director listing as one of its responsibilities:

Deliver AAA experiences that showcase the unique values of Xbox 360, Xbox Live, Kinect, and future gaming platforms.

What is MGS Vancouver cooking up? We should find out at E3 in just over one month's time.

I don't think so James.

My money is on a Gears of War offshoot like Dead Space Extraction! ;)

should there be any accessories with kinect, doesn't that defeat the purpose?
and doesn't epic on all rights to gears of war, or does epic and Microsoft have that good of a partnership?
