Launches 29th April

Microsoft's doing its best to keep Kinect Sports in the disc trays of Xbox 360s everywhere, as it's set to launch brand new downloadable content for the game next week.

The Calorie Challenge add-on launches on 29th April and containts a new mode where players will have to defeat opponents in the form of high calorie sneaks: Peppy Pizza, Supersonic Soda and more will all stand in the way of you and healthy eating, apparently.

The pack will cost 320 Microsoft Points and offer a further 250G of Achievements and two new Avatar Awards too, which might entice you to plonk down your Points on this one.

Read the press release below and look out for the content on 29th April.

Can't wait for this- just introduced the wife to kinect sports after prizing here away from Wii fit, she loved it, think this DLC might make her come back for another go? And a bit of competition for me!
We need more games like this on kinect!

Kinect Sports is a great game... but I have to say that unless I'm missing something, this DLC sounds like it should be free. Is it correct that all this does is give you some AI characters to compete against? What am I missing?

New opponents, 250G of Achievements and two Avatar Awards, but no new minigames.
