The rumour that refuses to die
Gears of War 3 is not coming to Kinect, but that hasn't stopped the industry rumour mill softly whispering about Gears of War Exile, a recent trademark uncovered by Siliconera, heading to Kinect.
Now Kotaku has added fuel to the fire with what it says is an image of an "early concept" for a Gears game heading to Kinect later this year.
According to "sources claiming to be familiar with the project", the game would be played on-rails, with the Xbox 360 handling player movement as the gamers blast away.
The image displayed above, so says Kotaku, represents an older concept demo for a Kinect Gears game and may not reflect the real product.
