Kinect's launch "scratch the surface" of its potential according to Kudo Tsunoda, and enterprising engineers have already coded several interesting applications for the sensor for PC and Mac.

Navigating the 360 dashboard and in-game is done by using the hand closest to the sensor, but as this video below shows Kinect is capable of tracking two hands at once, a little like Minority Report, minus the questionable ethics.

It is going to be tougher to make Kinect work where you don't have a very limited number of buttons and such. For now, I am just going to go watch Minority Report again :P

Too bad if you have a fairly newish macbook, you already have a more accurate multitouch system with your touchpad.
